Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile! I grew up surrounded by animals, and I can't imagine a life without them. My family has had dogs, hamsters, cats, and rabbits, so I have experience working with all sorts of animals. I have also been horseback riding since I was 7 and have cared for and worked with pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, and other farm animals. In addition, I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was 16 and have experience working with a variety of dog breeds and personalities. I also adore running (I ran on my college's XC and Track teams and am training for a marathon), so if you'd like your dog to be taken on a run in a nearby park or on the sidewalks, I'd be more than happy to! Maddie was an excellent house and pet sitter! Right from our first meet-and-greet our animals loved her and you could tell that she loves and knows how to care for animals. She went above and beyond for us, helping to take care of our chickens as well. I could not recommend her enough!

It's helpful to know if your dog is friendly towards strangers, other dogs, and how they interact with moving vehicles like bikes and cars. I want to ensure your dog feels as comfortable and happy as possible when out for a walk.
A typical day
I live right by the Somerville Community Path which connects to the Minuteman Bikeway for nice long walks. On the weekends, I am happy to travel to the Middlesex Fells or other parks to take your pup out for longer walks or runs.

Availability
I currently work mostly remotely, so I have the flexibility to check in on your pet or take your pup out for a walk during the day. My weekends are generally more flexible and can include long hikes or runs if that is something your dog would love to do!
