Pet care experience
Hey, my name is Maddie. I'm a college student. I do still live at home and have protective parents who will approve each offer (for my own safety,but unless something weird is going on there shouldn't be a problem). My dog sitting style is daily visits. It means that I go to your home one to several times a day and take care of your dogs. I'm just starting out with dog sitting, but I've been around dogs since I was in 2nd grade. I have babysat my own dogs on my own. I absolutely love dogs and have four of my own at home. A chihuahua named Rocco who thinks he is the boss and the alpha dog. A Basset Hound named Govenor that loves to sleep all day. A Rat Terrier named Abby who gets scared easily but is very sweet. And finally my newest addition is an Australian Shepherd named Murphy who is very caring and loves to play My Aussie is five and the rest of my dogs are elderly so I have experience with all ages of dogs. Since I have so many dogs that's why I don't do dog sitting at my own home (my chihuahua is very territorial and doesn't like new dogs at first). I do have commitments to church camp twice this summer and going out of town for family. They are marked unavailable on my calendar. Sundays I have church and Wednesday evenings I do as well (Even though Sundays and Wednesdays are marked unavailable if I can work around my service time I can take it). This was my second scheduled stay with Maddie. She was very professional and considerate of my requests. She went above and beyond just taking care of my dogs. I have a couple of high maintenance dogs and she had no issues following my instructions on their care. I received daily pictures and she is great at taking "action" shots of the dogs playing fetch. Maddie kept me in the loop and didn't hesitate to ask if she had any questions. I cannot wait to take another vacation and schedule another stay with Maddie. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter.
Maddie is wonderful! I had to cancel my stay because I was ill and she was very understanding. She was very prompt in responding to my inquiry and answering my questions. She came to meet the dogs before my scheduled trip and asked the necessary questions to care for them. I have another trip scheduled in July and look forward to working with her again.

A typical day
I do daily visits. If you are interested in just pet walking or exercising I can do that. For pet sitting though I do traveling pet sitting because I have four dogs at my own home already and one is very territorial towards new dogs. I can accommodate whatever the pet owner needs for their dog. Whether they are only allowed food at meal time or have it down all day. Whether they let their pets all over the furniture or never at all. I can walk your dog (though I do have requirements on size. I won't walk Giant and won't walk some large depending on weight. I don't want something happening where I'm overpowered and your dog running) and if your dog needs his/her's hair brushed I can groom it as well. I do need to know your type of dog in advance and would like to know the personality type. If they are aggressive let me know, I understand because I have an aggressive dog who doesn't like strangers. If they are very timid and scared let me know or if they are just really hyper. This is just so I know what to expect when dealing with your friend. Any other questions you have just contact me :)
