Pet care experience
We just moved to a house in Orono with a fenced yard! Dustin and I have a love for dogs and caring for them. Both Dustin and I grew up with dogs as part of our families. Not only are we dog people, but we are animal people. Finn our springer is easy going and loves to play or chill, either one! He’s good at reading other dogs and gets along with them great. Please note our dog does best with submissive dogs, and Finn’s play style is likes to be chased, soft mouth play, and wrestling. Your dog will be like one of our own while he/she stays with us. We love being active, cuddling on the couch, and playing. We are excellent communicators and will text you guys updates and pictures of your pup, if you’d like. We’d love to give your pup some pets and attention while you are away! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, and looking forward to petting and playing with your pup! Maddie and Dustin are great, we highly recommend. They are very experienced and obviously love dogs, ours was well cared for and happy! We received updates and pictures daily which was great as this is our first time having a pet sitter, it was great to know our little guy was having fun! They have a great, sweet-natured dog that ours LOVED playing with, he is a great buddy/host, and a fenced yard for outdoor play which we don’t have so was a real treat for our Milo. We can tell he misses them all, will book again in the future any time they are available!
Maddie, Dustin and their dog Finn were all wonderful with my young Pomeranian Bo. He has separation anxiety (covid pup!) but they were patient and caring and he seemed reassured and calm with him. He seemed to adore playing with Finn. Thanks guys!

We have a safe, secure fenced yard (6 Ft. Privacy fence). We prefer if dogs can be kenneled overnight/while we are away for safety when we are not able to supervise.

Any and all breeds welcome! Dog must be ok with other dogs because we have our own dog, named Finn! Finn does best with submissive dogs.
A typical day
We do one walk a day after work unless we have plans. We live 1 block away from the Dakota rail trail. We make sure to supervise play, especially at first to make sure they are both getting along/comfortable.

We are currently WFH until September. One of us is usually home but when we have plans we leave for a few hours a day after work.
