Hello! I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and am an experienced pet sitter! I grew up with five family dogs and a cat, and also have an Australian Shepherd mix named Rocky who is the light of my life. I have years of animal care experience, as well as professional experience involving pets. Over four years, I have worked as a vet assistant, an animal care and intake assistant at the Lynchburg Humane Society, and as a pet nutrition retail assistant. I love working with, and taking care of animals because they have so much to teach us and they bring so much joy! I know how important it is to make sure you are leaving your pet in the right hands, so trust me when I say that I treat any animal I care for as my own! I would be so happy to have the opportunity to help you in any way I can with your pet!

Maddie is one of the best dogsitters I know! She took care of my fur baby Cookie like he was one of her own. Cookie is senior boy and is on multiple medications (which he sometimes refuses to take) - Maddie was very patient and loving, and is a pro at administering meds, and I know my Cookie was taken very good care of :) I recommend Maddie to every dog owner out there!
Maddie is great with my 15 year old chihuahua Barb. Barb is very unfriendly towards strangers and is very high maintenance. Maddie was patient from the beginning and has earned Barb’s trust. I highly recommend Maddie as it is very clear she is naturally gifted with even the most difficult dogs.
Maddie has been such great pet sitter for our two cats, Arthur (2) and Angel (7). Arthur is very playful and needs a lot of attention, but Angel gets stressed out by Arthur’s rowdiness sometimes and needs to get away from him. Maddie keeps them totally happy despite their little quirks! She makes sure they stick to their twice a day feeding routine and always leaves the litter box freshly scooped! She is very a adaptable and accomodating pet sitter.
Maddie our favorite pet sitter! We have four dogs and one cat, she treats them with as much love and care as if they were her own! Two of our dogs are food aggressive and one has separation anxiety, and Maddie knows just how to safely care for them. She has experience giving medication and taking them to the vet if needed. She always sends us pictures and updates when she watches them. We never worry when we travel because we know our pets are in great hands!

As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is for our fur babies to have consistent love and stimulation. There is not a plan made in my day unless it fits in with my dog's schedule, so maintaining that schedule for your pet is my top priority!
