Pet care experience
I am a recent Xavier graduate with lots of time and energy to care for your pet. As a former collegiate runner, I can easily take an active dog on a 4 mile run in just 30 minutes! I am a night shift nurse and work three nights a week (7pm-7:30am), which leaves me with 4+ days a week of availability. I have practice with flea medication administration and pill administration through caring for my family dog. As a nurse I can handle needles and subcutaneous injections with ease. I have been taking on sporadic sitting and walking requests over the past 8 years, however I would love more regular employment with dogs because there is truly nothing I am more passionate about. I will not sit for dogs with extreme aggression issues, however I love all breeds.
A typical day
I always come fully prepared with an abundance of milkbones and poop bags. Your dog will never be deprived of treats, nor your treelawns decorated with doo doo. I can run with your dog or take them on a trip to the dog park to socialize! I have a 2012 Honda Accord and can easily transport your dog to Otto Armleder or Washington Park dog park for a fun afternoon.
