As a lifelong dog owner, I have a wealth of experience in caring for different dogs of all ages. Currently, we have a pitbull mutt, so I am not afraid of Pits, in fact I LOVE them!! When caring for a dog in a client's home, I prioritize their safety and well-being. I establish a routine for feeding, walking, and playtime to make the dog feel secure. This includes making sure they have fresh water and food, following any dietary instructions from the owner. Before leaving, I ensure the house is tidy and free of hazards, and clean up after the dog. Additionally, I will monitor their behavior for any signs of distress or illness and contact the owner or a veterinarian immediately if needed. Most importantly, I give the dog plenty of love and attention, engaging in physical activity and social interaction to keep them healthy and happy.

A typical day
I love to explore new neighbors and places (while still remaining safe). If your dog wants to run, I can also do a short run with them to get out even more energy! My goal is to ensure your dog gets the best, individualized care possible.

Availability
I am currently a student at UNC-CH so will have some time during the day to watch your dog. I usually have morning classes & will probably take one class in the afternoon, but can work around these to visit your pup in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends are usually free!
