Madalyne took care of my 2 dogs Benny and Brody back in March in her home for a week while I was out of the country. I met her beforehand where she also introduced me to her partner who lives with her (because she knew he would be around the dogs too). I thought this was very thoughtful and they were both very nice. She also made an account on WhatsApp so she could send me pictures and updates while I was out of the country (since I wouldn’t be able to receive regular text/iMessages). Towards the end of the trip my dog Benny started having some balance issues and she told me right away that she thought he hurt his leg and offered to take him to the vet. I held off on that because I was getting back in 2 days and in the mean time she carried him outside and even took him on walks in a stroller since he was having a hard time walking/ balancing. I was nervous he might have gotten an injury during the stay but after I got home and had him checked out, the vet realized it was an ear infection causing him to have trouble balancing, so there was nothing Madalyne could have done to prevent this from happening. Pets are like our babies, so even though it turned out to be a minor issue, it was really nice to have someone be so attentive to Benny while I couldn’t be. I would recommend Madalyne to anyone looking for a sitter, and I would book with her again.
