My favorite sibling growing up was Tazzy my mom’s 10 year old Cairn Terrier, sorry Jon, she was my big little sister! I’ve always known the joy furry family members bring. I understand the desire and importance of treating them with the care they need to make them as comfortable as possible. I’ve learned that they want nothing more than to be with the people they love most, and that when that’s not an option distraction with activities and attention is the best remedy. I’ve worked at daycare and boarding centers for the past 3 years. During my time there I’ve learned all dogs are unique, but even the shy ones aren’t shy in telling you who they are, and what they need from you (even if it’s just space and patients). I have experience in harnesses, gentle leads, leashes, and basic medical procedures (IV, insulin, checking hydration, and giving medication), as well as canine body language. I am passionate in my love for dogs. I can honestly say in all my experience, no matter what, I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like.
