I spent the last year and a half walking a 4-year-old Australian Shepard three times a week while house sitting for her owner up to two weeks at a time (including giving the dog her medicine, watering plants, and keeping the house neat). From the time I was 10-years-old, I would take care of my neighbor's three cairn terriers for a week at a time while they would vacation. Since then, I've spent weekends house sitting and weekdays letting dogs out and walking them. I've provided for dogs varying from cockapoos to labs and everything in between. In the last month, I had to say goodbye to my beloved Bichon to a very unexpected tumor. I don't have a dog while I'm in school which is why I would love to take care of others in order to get my animal fix! Dogs are members of the family and I've never met one that I didn't absolutely love.
