Veterinary Assistant & Pet Sitter
Pet care experience
Hey there! I'm Mads, and I'm super passionate about pets! 🐾 Currently, I'm a Certified Veterinary Assistant working at a boarding facility, with dreams of transitioning to a vet clinic. I've been lovingly looking after other people's furry friends for about five wonderful years now, in addition to caring for my own. From exotics, birds, to dogs, I've had the pleasure of it all! 🦜🐶 My world truly revolves around these amazing creatures. On top of that, I'm also pursuing my dream of becoming a 1st-grade teacher by attending college for elementary education. 📚 I'm proudly certified as a Veterinary Assistant through Animal Care Technologies! 🌟
Reviews
Mad was great with our senior (and very much set in his ways) dog, she humored his quirks and was respectful of him and our home. Would definitely use her again if she'll have us!
This is our 5th time using Mad to dog sit/pop in visits. As always she is amazing with our animals and we know our pets are taken care of and happy when she watches them.
Mad was fantastic. Our cats loved her and she took great care of them. Highly recommend.
Such an attentive and friendly sitter to our fur babies! We are so grateful for how well she cared and all the attention she gave them while we were gone ?

Safety, trust & environment
Working at a boarding facility has given me valuable insights into the importance of providing a caring, safe environment for your beloved pets, ensuring your peace of mind while you're away. I'm experienced in administering medications and can provide basic baths and nail trims (Dremel or Basic Clips - no hair cuts or shaves). Each dog's bath includes a pampering session with shampoo, conditioning, cologne, a nail trim, and a cute bandanna. For cats, I offer a waterless shampoo, cologne, and a gentle nail trim. Depending on your pet's preferences, I'm happy to take them for walks and even on hikes. Rest assured, I'll keep you updated with daily pictures of your furry friend and shower them with plenty of love. Whether it's injections or other forms of medication (oral, nasal, eye drops), I'm skilled in administering them with care and precision. Your pet's well-being is my top priority! 🐾❤️
Information Mad G. would like to know about your pet
From you: Is your pet(s) human/dog aggressive/prey driven? Are they on any medications? Active/Inactive seizure pet(s)? Does your pet(s)have a history of running away? Has your pet(s) ever bitten anyone? Any surgery in the past 60 days or the next 60 days? How long are your pet(s) able to be home alone? Are your pet(s) crate trained? Any dietary restrictions? what is the vaccination status of your pet(s)? About me: What do you expect of me? How can I ensure you that your pet is safe? Would you like a meet and greet before the stay?
A typical day
I absolutely love taking leisurely walks with my dogs in the mountains or enjoying a peaceful outing by a pond or lake nearby. If your pup is up for it and comfortable, a trip to the dog park is also on the agenda! Engaging in playtime is a must for me. Whether it's an energetic game of fetch or a spirited round of tug of war, I'm all in! However, I understand that some activities may not be suitable for working dogs, and I'm more than willing to adjust based on their preferences and needs. Let's ensure our furry friends have a fantastic time together! ??
