Pet care experience
With several family dogs of my own and multiple experiences house-sitting and pet-sitting, I know how to provide your pup with all the love, head scratches, treats and walks they can have! Ask me more about my experience- I would love to explain more about it. I do have a car and have no problem getting to and from your location to visit your pet! All in all, I really would love to be the one you trust to love on your pet when you’re away because let’s face it, our pets deserve it!

Mackinley was amazing to work with. I needed a sitter quickly before a trip, and she stepped up. She watched my dog Stevie for 4 nights and provided updates on how Stevie was doing throughout the stay. It gave me peace of mind knowing that Stevie was well cared for and having a good time while I was away! Would highly recommended Mackinley to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
Mackinley took such great care of Gilmore and kept me updated the whole time. I appreciated her reaching out with questions to ensure Gilmore was comfortable. I highly recommend her!

I treat each pet with as much love and care as I treat my own pets at home! Lots of cuddles, treats, sensing their needs for when it’s time to go for a walk or the bathroom. And overall making sure they are as comfortable as possible while their favorite humans are away!

It’s incredibly to learn the ins and outs of the dogs day! Their daily schedule is just as important as my daily schedule. When do they eat? How often do they usually go outside? What safety precautions need to be taken to ensure the dogs comfortability (leash, harness, meds, etc.) Also, what makes the pet happy? Favorite treats, food, favorite toys, favorite parks or walking trails and of course favorite scratch spots! :)
A typical day
Lots of walks, gotta get the steps in. Visits to the dog park if that’s something they enjoy and are comfortable with. And of course plenty of snuggles and scratches.

I am looking for more weekend pet sitting as I do have a job during the week. But also, am looking for some pet sitting opportunities where they dog stays with me which would allow a more flexible schedule! :)
