Pet care experience
I am a graduate student at Texas Tech in the Psychology Department. I have three undergraduate degrees: Biology, Psychology, and Environmental Science. While pursuing these degrees, I cared for animals at the school and at home (our psych department houses animals). I cared for small animals at the university, mostly rats, but I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for friends and family since I was about 14. I am able to administer medication to most loved ones, as well as coax them into doing whatever they need.

Mackenzie was wonderful! My dog was very well taken care of while he stayed with her and she did a great job dealing with a very high energy dog who doesn’t slow down! Highly recommend and will definitely use again! Thank you Mackenzie!
She is just absolutely fantastic!! She takes my babies for walks and pet sits them when we go on vacation. She picks up the messes they make and they snuggle her to death.
MacKenzie has been taking care of my older dog for 2 years. She walks him when I’m stuck at work late and is always sending me pictures to let me know how he does.
MacKenzie has been taking care of my dog for 3 years now and treats him like her own when I’m not there! My puppy loves to tell me all about their walks and playtime!!! She’s always on time and very responsible.

I have a fenced in backyard and extremely dog friendly neighborhood. I can take them walking at a longer trail or to the dog park. I can also take them to a park of your choice if you wish. I don’t currently have animals in my home (the animals featured are in a different state).

I’d like to know temperament primarily. Also, where they prefer to be pet, how they sleep, how they are around other animals, eating habits, and bathroom habits.
A typical day
A typical day can include as many walks as they/you like! We can also go to the park, play fetch, tug of war, trails, etc. I’m open to what they like!

I can work from home. I am quite flexible with the schedule, and I am rarely away from home. Depending on the month, I may leave for short periods for class.
