Pet care experience
I have a soft spot in my heart for animals. I currently work full-time as an Academic Advisor at Temple University. On the weekends, I am working at a doggy daycare in Northern Liberties. What keeps me going? My pup at home, Koda. He's a young mini-goldendoodle with never enough love and kisses to give. I also have a short hair cat named Khloe. I have plenty of experience with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. When at the doggy daycare, I am also responsible for giving any dog that needs their medication for the day. I can do oral, topical, but no injections. Whether it be a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, snuggles and playtime, or a quick potty break outside, I am open to your needs.

Mackenzie was such an amazing sitter! She went above and beyond to devote extra time to my babies and they really warmed up to her and loved having her. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She really became a part of the family and we’re looking forward to having her back again soon! :)
Mackenzie would be an excellent choice for a caregiver. She has extensive knowledge of dogs, dog breeds, and care taking tactics. Mackenzie comes from a family that has bred Golden Retrievers her entire life. She also has an undying love for all dogs, and goes above and beyond to care for them. Her interests are always for the dog first, and will work her hardest to ensure the safety of your loved animal. Her schedule availability is flexible, and she is able to travel. Her experience level with being a pet owner, as well as a pet care taker and lover, makes her a perfect choice for your dog. Your animal will always be safe and protected when with her. Anyone would be lucky to have her caring for their pet!

With that being said, I believe it is important for us to do an initial meet and greet with you and the pup to ensure for a smooth process. I know that being away from your home during the day or overnight is not just limited to your pets. I can water any plants, bring in mail/packages, tidy up, or whatever you need to keep you at ease while away!

A typical day
Every pup loves fetch and tug-o-war! Snuggles are always included. My pup and I enjoy walking around Girard Estates every evening. The night is finished off with a treat to keep his little brain active!

Availability
Fortunately, I do have flexibility to work remote a few days a week. This will allow me to check in on your pup or provide walks. Most weekends I have availability early in the morning or after 4 PM.
