Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Kenzie and I cannot wait to meet your furry friends! I've grown up with multiple dogs in my home my entire life and am now the proud owner of a very adorable and energetic chiweenie! I have experience with dogs both large and small, from chihuahuas to golden retrievers. I have also cared for puppies as young as 6 weeks and looked over elderly dogs as old as 16 years who require special care. I am very eager to meet all the gorgeous dogs of Minneapolis and as an experienced owner, I'll know just what your dog needs to get through the day while you're away, whether it's a yummy meal, a potty break, or some good old fashioned play time!

She demonstrates an innate knowledge to understand what a dog needs and is incredibly patient, encouraging, and focused on relationship building when working with animals. She demonstrates this same amount of passion and awareness both when caring for her own dog as well as other dogs. I would trust her implicitly to watch my own dog, and I would feel comforted knowing he is spending time with Mackenzie.

I would like to know their general temperament, how they react to people and other dogs, what they might be afraid of or bark at, if they have a favorite toy/bed/part of the house, what snacks are allowed, how often they need to be fed, energy level, if they need any medications, and if they're prone to biting. I'm friendly to all breeds!
A typical day
I love to go to local parks and let dogs run around on leash. I love playing fetch, running with dogs, and exploring the neighborhoods (all dog owners know there are plenty of smells to sniff out there!). I also provide plenty of belly rubs and play tug of war like a champ. If your dog is friendly towards other pooches, a playdate with my own pup, Cicero the Chiweenie, could be arranged! He loves other dogs and can play for hours!

Availability
I am available 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and will consider weekends for ongoing clients. Caring for your pets will be my only job and top priority at this time, so my calendar will be flexible!
