Pet care experience
I've had many pets my entire life from goats to guinea pigs. I also worked at an animal hospital for awhile working with the pets that were boarded there while their owners were away. I really enjoyed that job, but it didn't fit into my schedule. I've had a senior dog and a puppy as well throughout my life

MacKenzie does a great job with my dogs. I have a senior blind dog plus another 'young' senior dog. She keeps me updated on how they're doing and any concerns. I'm a repeat client and will continue to be a fan of MacKenzie!
MacKenzie was fantastic with my two dogs. One of my dogs is blind and he showed no signs of being unhappy, lol. Mackenzie was timely and sent great updates and pictures. I definitely recommend.
Mackenzie is an amazing cat sitter. She is very reliable and communicative. We always know our kitties are going to be well taken care of when we go out of town.

Special needs or special behavior issues are important to me just so I know what to look for and what I'm in for! I like to meet the animals ahead of time anyway so that there are no problems while the owner is away and so that the animal, the owner and I all feel comfortable and familiar with the booking.
A typical day
I'm pretty accommodating so its more about owner's preferences! I like to stick to what the pet is already familiar with so I try to keep the same routine that the owner would.

Availability
I am currently in physical therapy school, so my hours aren’t as flexible as normal. I am enrolled in a hybrid program so while I am in the Carbondale area most times, I often have to travel to school to do in person learning. My evenings are fairly flexible, but during the day can be tricky at times.
