Pet care experience
I am an experienced animal owner and life-time animal lover. I have spent the last 8+ years doing in-home and boarding dog-sitting services. I have experience with small, medium, and large breed dogs; as well as felines, small animals (rodents, birds, reptiles), and some livestock (chickens, goats, horses). I am a very caring and compassionate sitter and I care for your animals as I would my own. While they are in my care I will do everything I can to make them comfortable and happy. I also do my best to make sure that you are not spending your time worrying that your pets are okay by sending photos and updates about them as often as you'd like. I have no problems making sure that your pets are properly exercised. I like to walk and would love to get your dog out of the house during the day if that's what you need. The more dog-walks I do, the more exercise I'm getting as well! I can manage young and old pets with relative ease. I have some experience teaching basic commands and such. I can administer medicine to those needing that sort of attention. I know the nuances of handling puppies vs. adults vs. elderly animals and will treat your animals accordingly.

The communication with Mackenzie was great and Georgie seemed to have a good time. Mackenzie's house and yard were set up well for hosting.
Our two older but energetic Weimaraners have enjoyed several visits with Mackenzie at our home. She's responsible, keeps in touch during stays of multiple nights, and we always return to a clean, cared-for house.
Mackenzie is a very dependable, honest, caring person and loving to animals. Her work with animals in the past has been outstanding and puts a lot of time and energy into the well being of pets.

Information Mackenzie S. would like to know about your pet
I have no preference on breed and I do not discriminate. I'm not afraid of dogs at all and aggressive breeds do not intimidate me. When I watch a dog, I would like to know their temperament and their daily habits, I would like to know what they typically do and what behaviors are normal for them. I need to know what they eat and their feeding schedule (you supply the food for the stay as well). And anything else I would need to know would be anything special, such as medications or requests you would want to make for your pet's stay.
A typical day
I live in a large apartment complex with many connected subdivsions. I have a dog park where your pup can run off leash as well. I have done things like training exercises with dogs while I have watched them and even ran water-training drills with hunting dogs. Whatever your pet needs, I can do it! We can play fetch and tug of war, I can provide socialization with other animals if that is something that you would like as well.
