Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds since I was a kid. I started training puppies when I was 14 and want to expand that ability. I have cared for dogs and cats during all life stages both personally and for family and neighbors.

Mackenzie is very patient with my blind chihuahua. Sometimes she cries for no reason or decides she is done walking in the middle of the park. Mack will give her scratches and make her feel better or pick her up when all she wants is to be held. I’ve watched her train multiple dogs and she is very good at getting them to learn what she is teaching, even if it takes a while.
Mackenzie is a great pet owner, she has taken the time with her dogs to train them on commands and is loving and gentle. I trust her to care for my own cats and dog without having to worry about a thing. She cares for animals like they are her own and takes the time to educate herself if she is unsure.

I would like to know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors. I have worked a lot with samoyeds, pit bulls and recently boxers, so those are the breeds I am most familiar with. Please let me know if your dog has any challenging behaviors while on walks, such as reactivity to other animals.
A typical day
I enjoy providing enrichment activities for dogs to keep them entertained and plenty of play time. On walks I like giving plenty of opportunities for sniffing.

Availability
I am a full time college student working part-time. My schedule offers a lot of flexibility and availability all days of the week. I am available early mornings and evenings, with some afternoon openings. I have open availability Friday through Sunday.
