Pet care experience
Hailing from a family of animal lovers, caring for pets comes naturally to me! While others babysat, I was the one my neighbors called on to watch their animals when they were out of town. I’ve personally owned cats, dogs, fish, chickens, and even hermit crabs! Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of sitting for dogs, cats, bunnies, and reptiles. From rambunctious puppies to elderly pets that need a little more attention, I’m happy to watch your pet and provide whatever care they may need.

Mackenzie did a fabulous job taking care of our 8-year old rescue dog Griffey in our home for nine days. She was very communicative, took him on long walks, sent lots of pictures, and left the house in excellent shape. Griffey is happy and healthy. We would definitely have Mackenzie stay with Griffey again!
Mackenzie stayed with our 1.5 year golden retriever for a week when we went out of town and she did a great job! Both our house and pup were well taken care of and we would love to have her back!

Please let me know if there is anything unique to avoid around your pet, I’ve seen it all ranging from cats that love eating tape to dogs that go absolutely insane around squeaky toys. I know we all love to talk about our pets so please feel free to tell me anything and everything you think I should know!
A typical day
I’m grateful to live right next door to Magnuson Park and love to give dogs the opportunity to get their energy out off-leash if appropriate. Like many of us, long walks became an essential part of my day during the pandemic and I’m always happy to explore new areas when walking dogs in their respective neighborhoods.
