Hey! My name is Mackenzie and I am a Registered Nurse who has a passion for taking care of, and loving on dogs! I currently live in an apartment. I’m next to a ton of walking trails and love to bring pups with me to walk them! I have 20 years of experience with dogs. I am very passionate about training dogs! I absolutely love spending all of my free time walking with and playing with pups. I signed up to be on Rover because I want to take the worry away from you wondering if your dog is being well cared for when you aren’t around. It’s my promise that I will treat your dog as well as I treat my own. I am so excited to get to know your pup (family member)!

What a joy it was to drop my puppies off with Mackenzie. Her puppy immediately loved mine. I got so many video and photo updates during the day and they were so happy in all of them. Can’t wait to use her again.

All dogs I take care of have 24/7 supervision by me. I find it’s so important to be constantly aware of what pups are doing, because even a couple minutes with your eyes off of them could mean they are getting into something they shouldn’t be.

I would like to know their temperament, their level of training, and any bad habits they have- just so I know what to watch out for! I do not have any breed preferences and I do not discriminate against any specific breeds. I just ask that your dog is well behaved and has not had any prior episodes of aggression!
A typical day
I am incredibly active with the pups I watch. We go on walks every single day. I also spend endless hours throwing the ball/ frisbee. I am diligent about getting some form of training in each day, even if it’s just reinforcing skills they already know (sit, stay, lay down, wait, leave it, etc.) If there are places you do not want me to take your pet or certain things you don’t want them to be around, please let me know ahead of time!
