Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of every kind (puppies-seniors, teacup-large) for my friends and family over the past several years and am a lifelong animal lover. I am an experienced dog/house sitter and look forward to hanging out with any fur friends!

Mackenzie did a great job with our dog, Jake, and he really liked her. She sent us updates every day on how he was doing along with plenty of pictures. We highly recommend her to others.
Mackenzie was wonderful to work with! She was super responsive during booking and all throughout the stay and was very accommodating to our schedule. She sent us a few cute pictures of Zeus and he loved hanging with her while we were away. He slept the entire day after we picked him up from her place. Highly recommend and we would love to use her again!
MacKenzie was great! My pup isn't great with other dogs but loves human company. He was in really good hands with MacKenzie with daily walks and really nice deck where he could sunbath. I will definitely be a repeat client. Thanks!
So, so great! Mackenzie was available last minute and we rest assured knowing our Bubba and Winston were well taken care of. She sent pics (as per our request) of the dogs during the day..think Bubba actually appeared on one of her work zoom calls. It was also great to see sleeping, contented dog pics after some lengthy walks. She did a wonderful job with overall care and communication. My husband Mike and I would highly recommend!

I do not have any pets of my own, so even dogs who prefer to be the only 4-legged one in the room are welcome! I have experience watching dogs that dart, do not get along w/ others, and require extra attention and structure during walks. I am happy to crate your pup or let them roam free per your preference at night or when I leave the house. I use gates to keep them out of off-limits areas. Please note: Both entrances to my house are up 1 flight of stairs, so if your dog does not do well with stairs, my home might not be a good fit!

Please let me know if your dog has any special diet requirements, social quirks, specific exercise needs, or specific sleep arrangements. I am happy to accommodate any requests (within reason). :)
A typical day
We will go on 2, 30+ minute walks per day in the morning and late afternoon, with a few shorter walks throughout the day and before bed. I live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of parks nearby, so we'll be exploring new sights and sounds through the stay. :). Exercise level will of course depend on the age and stamina of the dog. We do not allow any pets in our bed, however we're happy to have your pet sleep on the floor next to our bed, somewhere else in the house, or in a crate if that is your preference.

I currently work from home and have a relaxed job so am home all day every day and will have plenty of time to give your pets lots of attention and walks!
