My main questions for a family before caring for their dog are: What is their temperament like, do they get along with other dogs, how often do they need to be fed and do they complete their meal or graze, and how they react when something they aren't supposed to have is attempted to be taken from their mouth. I believe that once I learn these characteristics of a dog I will be able to effectively and safely care for them. I have no preference on breed or age, I would love anything!

I'm currently renting a house in the Sioux City/Briar Cliff University area. I played softball for Morningside, so I enjoy a very active lifestyle. I prefer to be outside, so depending on how hot it is our walks could be a few miles! On a stay with me, whatever rules the family prefers for their fur baby will be followed. I don't mind animals on my furniture or in my bed, but I am able to enforce whatever rules a family prefers. I live with two roommates so a dog has an opportunity to make many friends during their stay with me!
