Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog, from puppy through old age, so will understand your dog's needs at any age. In adulthood, I adopted a dog from a shelter, who I got to spend 5 beautiful years with. She was a high-anxiety, sometimes aggressive dog so I also understand how to handle difficult pets (it's not always easy!). I will love your dog as if it's my own, be respectful of its and your needs, and always follow your preferred care guidelines.

I am not able to have dogs in my current apartment. However, when caring for pets at the owners home I would always be respectful of the household, learn the owners preferred guidelines for care (and stick to them!), and understand any potential hazards (e.g., unfenced yard).

Let me know if your dog has any special needs (e.g., medications) or habits that I need to watch out for (e.g., chewing). I'd also like to know if your dog is comfortable around strangers, children, and other pets. If you have an anxious or timid dog, let me know and I can be patient with the process of letting them warm up to me - I understand how stressful it can be.
A typical day
I will take your dog on a nice long walk, play in the park, and treat them to all kinds of fun doggy games. But the day depends on what your dog needs and can handle - so just let me know and I can be accommodating!

I work full-time, spending 2 days remote each week for a more flexible schedule. I sometimes travel on weekends, but will always be transparent about my schedule and limitations.
