Pet care experience
I have been living with and taking care of dogs and cats for the majority of my life, but only have 3 years of paid professional experience with animals. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility for cats and dogs, which helped me gain experience with many different sizes, breeds, tempers, medications, etc.

Mackenzie was very attentive, asking the right questions during our meet up, and then sending loads of pictures throughout her stay. My cat warmed right up to her, and that doesn't always happen. She was great.

Mackenzie was awesome with my scardy cat Button. She was patient with the fact that he’s pretty fearful of new people and she eventually got him to come out and they became friends! She asked great questions to get to know Button, gave very thorough updates and sent lots of pictures. Overall an awesome experience and I felt very good about leaving my boy in her hands and will definitely be doing so again!
Mackenzie was excellent with Raimi! In addition to the photos, we got the best written updates about our cat. Reading Mackenzie’s detailed account of the cat made our day. 100% recommended!

I feel it is important to let me know if your pet can be reactive to other strangers or animals we may encounter, so I know to steer away and keep them calm. If your pet has any special needs, medications, or past trauma, I’d love to discuss this right of the bat so I know how to make your pet comfortable and know they are safe and loved while I am around.
A typical day
I can easily adjust to what your pet’s typical routine is! If your pet has a certain walking route, place to hang out, toys to play with, etc., I’ll be sure to incorporate it into our time spent together. Whatever leaves your pet safe and happy should be fine with me.

Availability
I also work in childcare, but will always make time to stop by and take care of your pets! I am almost always available for overnights. Overnight pricing includes 8pm-6am, along with two 30 minute drop ins or walks during the day. Even when working other jobs, I will ensure your pet gets their needs met.
