Vet Student Missing Furry Friends
Pet care experience
I’m currently a fourth year Veterinary Student at CSU, and am looking to get more involved with the pets of my community! I did my undergraduate degree studying Animal Science at UC Davis, but grew up with pets of my own in Houston, Texas. I have 8+ years of clinical experience working as an assistant and technician at veterinary clinics over summer breaks, and have plenty of side experience dog sitting, walking, and doing overnight stays. In undergrad, I had a senior disabled dachshund who I rescued for his last 2 years of life, so I also have lots of experience with animals with medical needs (and a sweet spot for them!). I currently live with two other vet students and two sweet cats, so no matter what species your furry family member is, I would love to help out!

A typical day
My favourite walk spot is along the Spring Creek Trail, but I also love to hike, and enjoying getting to know new neighbourhoods. I’ve taken some of my favourite pets to the A, devil’s backbone, and horsetooth!

Availability
Weekdays can get quite busy for me with rotations, but I can usually find time for drop ins and will give lots of cuddles if staying overnight! I will never commit to sitting if my rotation doesn’t permit it.
