Hi! My name is Mackenzie, and I have been taking care of animals for nearly my whole life.I worked in a kennel for a year and now I fully dedicated to rover. Animals are my passion and my priority. I currently have 3 Guinea pigs, 6 cats, goats and chickens at home. A little over a year ago I lost my beloved childhood dog, and spending time with other dogs makes me feel a little closer to her. Mackenzie is a diamond in the RUFF. She is an animal lover of all types. From her guinea pigs, cats, dogs and shelter pets, she never grows tired of her animals. Mackenzie's years of animal experience has developed a patience with my sometimes difficult dog. She helps care for her when I'm out of town and gives her walks when I'm busy with work. Mackenzie is reliable and flexible with her schedule. I highly recommend Mackenzie for your dog walking needs.

She instantly connects with any kind of four footed friend and delights in meeting new fur babies. I enjoy establishing trust with pets and making sure they are comfortable and feel safe. I want my company to be something they are excited about and I want it to be as close to their normal as possible. Overall your pets feelings, and needs are always my #1 priority when taking care of them and I can promise any and all requests from you will be heard and established into my time with your pet. Not only do I want your pet to be comfortable, I want you to be as well.

I really find it important for myself and the owner to talk about their dogs personality. I also like to keep an open line of communication with the owner about their dogs boundaries and things they enjoy. If your dog is anxious, dog aggressive/reactive, protective etc, this is crucial information for me to have so I can properly respect their boundaries.
A typical day
I LOVE exploring parks and playing as much as possible to keep them stimulated and excited. Toys are always welcome in my services and I go out of my way to make time for play if possible. I also am a sucker for treats and ask that parents leave me some to give while I am doing a service. :)

I’m currently free for everyday of the week, excluding most Mondays and Tuesdays! I prefer mornings, because I like to start my day nice and early but I am flexible if needed . If my unavailable days are what you need, please message me I can make myself available! <3
