Pet care experience
I’ve walked, “babysat”, and loved taking care of a variety of breeds ever since early high school! I’m currently a college student at Emory, and take my own daily walks and miss having dogs around, so love Rover! I have my own family dog (not with me at school) who I’ve taken care of for a few years now, and I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and ages. I’m home most of time except for a couple hours here and there for classes/ gym, and love having a furry study buddy :)

Mackenzie was really sweet and had a great day with my puppies Charlie and Elio. She was a great communicator and my dogs came back happy, sleepy and contented. I would definitely recommend too!

I’m completely comfortable driving your dog in my car if needed, and am also used to dealing with dogs that may be a little more “excited” on a leash. I’m happy to walk them in your neighborhood, take them to a park, or drive them back to my neighborhood for a walk. My campus is great for walks, as is the area around my apartment complex (also walking distance from campus). The apartment complex has a gated dog park as well, and welcomes pets.

Please let me know how often potty breaks are needed, and what “equipment” you’ll be bringing with you so I can plan accordingly! I don’t mind using my own bowls, toys, etc., but please just provide me with a feeding and potty break schedule and what you have with you beforehand :)
A typical day
I’m super active and walk everyday, so I love taking the dogs with me! I have lots of balls and other toys around, and high energy dogs are perfect for me. I like to do a morning walk, afternoon play time (fetch, etc.) and then a quick evening walk or jog. If your dog is okay off leash, my campus has a huge green space for fetch etc. Otherwise, I also have a gated dog park available to me for play time.

Availability
I have some classes during the week, and often go to the gym, but am rarely gone for more than a couple of hours at time. My apartment complex and campus have plenty of sidewalks around for walks, as well as a gated dog park and lots of green space.
