Pet care experience
Dogs are my passion and have been ever since I was a young kid. I grew up having a dog as my best friend since I was 1 year old. I have watched my own dogs grow old and cared for them as seniors, as well as taken care of puppies and trained dogs that are 9 weeks old. On top of that, I have been caring for dogs as my full time job for almost 3 years. I can handle dogs of any size and age, I want to ensure that your dogs have the best quality of life by taking them out for walks and providing them with genuine love and care. I have two dogs of my own and have taken a puppy training course in the process of raising them. I also have cared for dogs with high medical needs, so I am willing and able to administer different medications depending on your dogs needs. My goal is to I provide care for your dogs that leaves you at ease whenever you are away from them. I know what it’s like to have to leave your dog for a vacation so it is my guarantee to care for your dog as if it’s my own, and I hope to leave you with absolutely no stress.

Mackenzie’s love for pets has always been a part of her identity. She always takes amazing care of her own pups Winnie and Beaux making sure they are well cared for and loved. Aside from that, the dogs she looks after are treated as her own whenever they are with her, in a loving environment. Mackenzie’s often taking care of four pups on a day to day basis and is always able to manage in a “dog mom” type of way.
Mackenzie is a very happy energetic person, she is very good to communicate with. Mackenzie loves two things, her family and any dog she ever encounters. Mackenzie will love the dogs as if they are her own.
Mackenzie has a love for dogs that has lasted her entire life. From her first steps taken at age one towards our black lab to today where she takes care of a Labradoodle with epilepsy as well as his next door neighbour dog. Mackenzie has patience, compassion and love for all dogs, big and small. Our dogs all love her enormously and can’t wait to spend time with her. You are in good hands and can rest easy knowing Mackenzie is giving your dog the love that they deserve!

I ensure that my dogs go on a minimum of one walk a day- sometimes more depending on the weather and the energy levels of the dog so I would do the same for your dog. I like to make sure that high energy pups get a lot of time outside to burn off some of that crazy energy and hopefully bring on a big nap, to leave the owner with some peace and quiet.

A typical day
I love meeting new dogs and evaluating what they like to do for fun. If your dog enjoys playing with toys, I will gladly sit and play with it for as long as it wants. If there is anything specific that your dog enjoys just let me know and I will incorporate it in the best way I can! I also love going for walks and have found some nice trails throughout my time walking dogs.

Availability
I am currently working full time as a nanny but have a fairly flexible schedule that can be open to adding pet walks. My weekends are completely free 90% of the time so I am available to take care of dogs any time.
