I've been pet sitting for a while in my neighborhood, but when I started high school, I spent every summer volunteering at a barn in Wallis. I work with horses (3-5 here in Texas, 15 back at college), dogs (2 mastiffs, a lab, and an adorable mutt), cats (six of them), chickens, and snakes (to kindly show them they don't belong near the other animals). I'm on my college's equestrian team. A gentle hand will get a gentle response, and patience is my best friend. I'm also the proud owner of an Airedale named Mocha. I have summer school from 8 am to 9:45 am in Katy until July 6th, but I can get up early to check on the dog(s) before my class. I'm also part-timing at my old horse instructor's barn, but those hours are very flexible.
