Hey! My name is MacKenzie, I am 25, and have my bachelors degree. I have loved animals my entire life and am comfortable around all kinda of dogs, big or small. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule! I have house-sat, boarded, walked, and done day visits for many different families and their fur babies. From dog walking to taking care of the pets when your family goes on vacation, I can do it all. One of my clients even had me come over every night to sit with her special needs dog to just keep her happy and calm. I have taken care of dogs that are a few months old to senior dogs. I can also give baths, medication and preform light grooming. I am a very responsible, trustworthy and caring person, and will give your dog the love and care it deserves while you are away! Dogs are part of the family, and deserve to be treated like that. Looking forward to hearing from you and being able to treat your dog life family!

Mackenzie was absolutely amazing. She watched Oliver like he was her own and sent me frequent photo and video updates. Oliver is a sensitive, sometimes anxious pup, and she was there to give him constant affection and reassurance while I was away. Very grateful to have found her here on Rover!
Mackenzie was awesome taking care of my little guy while I was away all week. Having separation anxiety he has to have somebody stay with him 24/7. MacKenzie was very accommodating and communicative the whole time I was away. She even handled the Internet guys for me while I was gone. Highly recommend MacKenzie and will be using her again.
Mackenzie has been a loyal friend and pet sitter for years. She is not only loving, but very responsible, and my puppies love her!!! She is hardworking, caring, and is so great with animals. I can take them to a fenced in dog park, the beach (when season allows), have the space to crate them if that’s part of their routine, really anything you need! Dogs really like routines, so whatever I can do while you’re gone, whether it’s just for 8 hours to work or a week on a trip, I will do it!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences I should be aware of! If they dislike men, other dogs, loud noises etc. I want them to be as comfortable as possible with me!
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs, both physically and mentally. After chatting with you about your expectations (and theirs) I will come up with fun things for us to do to keep them happy and healthy! If they are super active, we could play catch for an hour and then have a long walk. If they enjoy treats (hello what dog doesn’t) there’s a few great ways to make easy stimulating ways to receive them! Ex: folding treats in a towel and tying it in ways where it engages them to find the treat.
