Pet care experience
I've owned animals since I can remember, dogs and cats galore! I've in home pet sat for my neighbor and busy families I'm acquainted too. I currently work in a doggy daycare and enjoy getting to love on dogs when I don't have one myself anymore. I've been wanting to branch out and be more pet oriented, and found rover could be a good side hobby.

Mackenna is OUTSTANDING!!! She went above and beyond with our pups and taking care of our house during the stay. Our pups and cat loved her!!! We could have not asked for anyone better! Highly recommend Mackenna and we will definitely be repeat clients :)

Keeping dogs and cats safe and comfortable is my main priority for house sitting and drop in visits. I'll ensure literboxes are clean, backyard is tidy, and the house looks better than when I arrived. I have safety equipment for car rides when taking dogs for walks, and an array of toys to keep high drive dogs busy and stimulated.

I have less experience with special needs dogs, I have experience with senior dogs and dogs with more medication/supplement requirements. I'm always willing to learn how to care for special needs dogs, however, as I am inexperienced please take that into consideration regardless of my readiness to learn and help.
A typical day
There are a lot of dog friendly trails in the area I'd take the dogs to, as well as trips to hiking trails or the dog park! Often I walk around the neighborhood if there are sidewalks available, or take them out to the lake for some fetch.

I work part time 4 days a week for six hours, I'm off Monday-Wednesday, some of the busier days of the week. I am in college to be a veterinary technician, yet always find time for the furry friends.
