Pet care experience
My family rescued our first dog when I was 10, Sadie, and our second, Blondie, 5 years later and ever since I've always had a special place in my heart for our furry friends. Both of my families dogs are now seniors, and I have a dog of my own, Maverick, out here since moving for graduate school. Since I was younger I've trained dogs, pet watched/walked, and have experience caring for seniors, and special needs dogs.

Mackenna is a wonderful and caring person. Finley my 7 year old, 12 lbs Mal-Shi rescue adores her. She has been my on call pet walkers, feeder and caretaker since Finley was a puppy. She has even taken Finley to agility training class when I was unable to and I am ashamed to say that the trainer/instructor says that he listens and performs better for her than he does for me. Your dog will be lucky to have Mackenna in his/her life.

I always do a meet and greet before taking on a new client for the peace of mind of everyone, in advance I'd love to know just some general information about your fur baby and anything important that you'd like me to know!
A typical day
One of my main priorities on walks is letting dogs be dogs, going at their pace wether they are younger and fast or need to take their time, and taking all the time for sniffing. Enrichment on walks is valued and I always let dogs take their time while exploring!

Availability
As a graduate student I mainly work on my own schedule with only a few required times when I am on campus, and I am easily able to stop over most times of the day/week. I'm happy to do early mornings, midday breaks, or evening care. As a heads up Maverick and I do fly home for the holidays to visit with family!
