I have dog sat 2 dogs in my before and I thought why not try this? FYI: I would like us to have meet and greet of both you and your dog so I can get to know how you two are like and the terms of taking care of your dog because I wish nothing but good health upon all dogs. The dogs (and cats) I am comfortable working with: I am comfortable working rather mellow dogs, dogs that need constant attention and always want to play (whether older or younger), as well as multiple dogs with the personalities mentioned before, big or small! Dogs that are emotionally unstable or get violently aggressive, I cannot work with. The only dog breed that I can think of that I'm not sure about are Pitbulls, and hard as that is to believe I don't want have that down. Experience and Why I am here:I love dogs, but that's already been said, why am I on Rover? Because this job will help me get out of house, to be with the distant cousins of wolves, and help find that job that I need and will enjoy. I am a college student trying to make his way in his life. I have dog sat 3 dogs in three years of my dog sitting experience, one was an Golden Retriever, Mount Rowler and a Pit bull mix. The Golden Retriever was an older guy and little grumpy but naturally pretty mellow, while the pitbull and Mount Rowler were both absolute sweet hearts and energetic which is typical for 4 year lifespan of the pit bull. But Mount Rowler was surprisingly almost just as active as the pit bull considering her older age. I am available 6 days a week, Paw at me to be your dog sitter :) And considering that cat sitting seems to have recently become a part of Rover, I'll be more that happy to catsit as well. I have 3 cats of my own, all of which are sweethearts but a little bit skittish. I've been with cats with pretty much my whole life, if I had to put a number cap on it that number would be 10 cats that I lived with my whole life.
