Pet care experience
I am a dog owner and love the experience of being a mom for my furybaby, she is adorable, a great family dog. I potty trained her, and now she is good as gold. Our while family are dog lovers, my hubby and my two adult boys also are passionate in caring and playing with pets. We play ball catching with our dog, walk her up to four times a day, take her to dog parks and beaches for fun and social time, she got lots of exercises and she is very healthy. I also volunteer in helping people with various excpetionalities such as Autism and Down syndrome. I have an educational background in nutrition counselling and used to work as a Lab Assistant at Victoria General Hospital before I embarked on this new passion and profession as a dog sitter.

Our family was visiting the island from Vancouver and was going to a few places where dogs were not allowed. We are so glad we found Mabel to take our fur baby for the day! Mabel is very responsive and sends photos throughout the care to update us and assure me that she was doing fine. We will definitely rebook with her again when we are back on the island! Mabel and her family took such great care of our small puppy. We were scared to leave him with a sitter due to his size, but Mabel put our mind at ease. She sent us regular updates with pictures of what the dogs were up to and she took the time to teach him new things. In every picture our pup looked like he was having a great time. He loved hanging out with Mabel’s friendly dogs!! We would definitely rebook with Mabel again:)
Mabel has been taking exceptional care of our dog. I will definitely rebook with Mabel if we are in need of a dog sitter again. Bonus points for having an adorable dog herself which our dog gets along with great. Mabel is taking out the dogs for plenty of walks and also has a backyard where they can hang out. She is sending lots of pictures and the communication is fantastic with Mabel replying to messages promptly. It is good to know that we can leave our dog with Mabel and do not have anything to worry about.
