Pet care experience
Hello! My husband, myself, and our 3 fur babies moved to the Bay Area in October of 2022 from Atlanta, GA! So far, we love it - particularly because we noticed that nearly everyone here has one or more fur kiddos! Both of us grew up around dogs and know how important it is to find sitters/walkers who will care for your babies the same way you do! We have 3 fur kids - Mocha is a 1.5 year old “mini” Aussiedoodle, Summer is a 4 year old mini-Goldendoodle, and Molly is a 12 year old Cavachon. My husband and I frequently watch our friends’ dogs (drop ins and overnights in our home) and are very comfortable with all sizes of fur babies and breeds.

I love how Maara pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my little guy: from his treats and his routine down to the way he likes to play ball. I never worried a minute while I was out of town because she had everything under control. It was such a comfort knowing that my little guy didn’t have to go stay somewhere else, but could stay in his own routine at home. I would HIGHLY recommend Maara and her pet sitting services to ALL my friends with furry people. Don’t even worry about stressing or planning for a trip to the kennel, just let Maara come over and take care of your little family at home. AND, she will update you as often as you’d like regarding your pets and their behavior.

We have a fenced in yard in Alameda, take our babies on 3 mile walks daily, and have 2 dog parks in a 2 mile radius of our home!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or certain behaviors I should be made aware of. For example, Molly, our senior furbabe is blind in her left eye - you cannot approach her from her left side because she won’t see you and it’ll startle her. She also cannot walk as far as our other 2 babies so we typically have to turn around to take her back and then continue the walk from there.
A typical day
Your furbabe’s mental exertion is just as important as their physical exertion. Your furbabes and I will take exhausting walks, play mentally exhausting games (we have a ton of puzzles for dogs), play fetch, learn new tricks, etc. We’ve taught our girls to roll, dance (spin in circles on their hind legs), high five, shake, and close it (close the cabinet/refrigerator doors).

Availability
I travel (locally within the Bay Area) during the day, so I have the flexibility to be anywhere within a 30-60 mile radius at any point in the day!
