Pet care experience
I used to hike dogs off-leash and work extensively with dogs in a professional setting. I have a great amount of experience walking, hiking, and boarding pups, and they seem to really love me. I can arrange for pickup/delivery of your sweet pup in the area if needed! About this sitter: I work for a non-profit in SF and love to be outside! When I watch your pup, we'll make sure to go on a hike or for a swim! Dogs seem to gravitate towards me! I have a hound dog of my own and love being around dogs. I understand how it is more comfortable for dogs to be in their own surroundings, so I'm more than willing to do whatever it takes to make your pup safe and happy! Why I love dog sitting: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we always had dogs! When I graduated from undergrad, I rescued a beagle mix who I have now. Dogs have such amazing personalities and I love to get to know each and every pup I watch. They become a part of my home and get individualized love and attention too :) Meet my pets: A beagle mix, Frenchie, and a cat, Raleigh :) My experience administering medication: I administer an allergy med to my pup daily, so I am very comfortable and skilled in giving medication.

Mackenzie was absolutely wonderful! She kept us updated every day that we were gone and even did a recap phone call after our trip. When we returned, our dogs seemed well exercised and quite happy. It is so nice to have a reliable, communicative, and experienced Dogsitter to rely on with our babies!
Took great care of my pup
We knew we'd need a dog sitter for the day and Mackenzie had responded so quickly! Her reviews were great and she really lived up to them. Very flexible with time and making sure our dog felt at home.
Mackenzie was a wonderful host. She kept me up to date with what my pet was doing, by sharing plenty of photos. She also made me feel like my dog was treated like a part of her family. I recommend Mackenzie with 2 very happy thumbs up :)

A typical day
On the weekends, we'll go for hikes in the EBRP or at Point Isabel. If it's nice out, they'll even get to go for a swim! Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Your dog will sleep in our room, either in the bed if they're used to that, in their crate, or on their bed next to ours.
