I grew up taking care of dogs, and lived with/helped care for roommates' cats for over a decade. I have been taking petsitting and walking jobs for nearly a decade, doing everything from playing with cats and dogs (inside your house, in your yard, at designated parks, or on walks), making sure animals have food and water (including managing special diets and making sure your animals get their medication), cleaning litterboxes, walking dogs (big and small - I have experience with very strong bully breeds), and reinforcing any training you've been working on with your pets during our time together!

Lyz has dog-sat my 2 dogs several times, including long weekends and full weeks at my house while I am out of town. Lyz was very responsible. They took great care of the dogs and also left my home very clean. Basically, I feel very comfortable and happy with Lyz taking care of my pups and will continue to rely on Lyz!
Lyz is one of the few people we trust to watch our dog. He's a husky and as a result, a total handful. Lyz is kind, patient, and has great attention to detail, plus Balto LOVES them. They're helped us out on short trips and also longer stays, which we have some particular nerves over when leaving such a neurotic dog for a long period of time, but with Lyz, he's right at home.
Lyz was amazing with my 2 pit bulls Julia and Rose! She sent picture updates each day and the girls looked so happy and comfortable with them. Lyz was incredibly kind, a great communicator, and very responsible. This was my first time using River and I was a little nervous to have someone stay in my house. Well….my nerves are calm now and I’m grateful I’ve found my go-to dog sitter!
Lyz did an incredible job taking care of my very sweet and sometimes spicy Josephine. I could tell when I got home that she had been given lots of love and attention. Lyz is professional, reliable, and trustworthy. It is clear how much they care about animals, and I have no doubt that Josephine was treated as though she was Lyz's own pet. I highly recommend Lyz as a pet sitter!

Allowing someone into your home, and/or to spend time with your pets requires a lot of trust - I will take care of your animals and treat your home with the respect and care that I would hope to receive from anyone doing the same for myself. If I stay in your home to care for your pets, or just watch your house while you're away, it will be as clean and orderly when you return as when you left. I'm happy to send regular updates about pets to anyone who would like them while you're away, even if I'm just stopping in to clean the litterbox or refill the water bowl.

Availability
I currently work as a therapist, mostly afternoons and evenings, so I am often very available during the mornings and early afternoons when you may be at work! I would love to spend time with your animals when I'm not with clients at my other job. Currently my landlord does not allow me to have pets of my own, so I will truly cherish whatever time I get to spend caring for your pets.
