Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs, they are my best friends. I have taken care of over 20 different dogs long term, having been their owner's reliable dog sitter throughout the dogs' life. I am a student working to become a vet and have spent more than 1400 hours working as a veterinary assistant and later as a veterinary technician. I have training administering medication including injections and IV fluids. I have worked with older dogs and younger dogs. I have experience crate training and working on basic commands with puppies as young as 8 weeks. I can work with fear aggressive and "trouble" dogs. In fact I love training dogs and would look forward to the challenge. I am also a sucker for a cute face and will play with your dog non-stop if that is what he/she wants, I once threw a ball for a young Labrador till my arm went numb. I love all animals big and small and would be more than willing to care for any other animals in your home as well. Lyta is a dog person. She immediately made a connection with Gus and she took him on great long walks every day. She also was able to handle it when Gus cut himself pretty badly - she took him to the Vet clinic where she works and was able to have him stitched up and was able to take care of him post-op at her home afterwards. I was beyond impressed!
Excellent! Great communication. She sent me photos of my dog playing and gave me text updates on how he was. Even though I had never met Lyta, I felt very comfortable with her keeping Duke! Recommended! ???
This was our first time boarding our dog and we were apprehensive about leaving our Golden puppy with anyone. After meeting Lyta and her dog Monzi we felt very comfortable with her. She kept us informed of how things were going and even asked if it was OK to feed her a bone with peanut butter! To top it off, when we came to pick our dog up, our sweet puppy wasn't sure she wanted to leave and come home with us. She was having way too much fun to leave! I would trust Lyta to look after our dog anytime and do plan on using her when we need to have a sitter for Gracie next time.

In my opinion there is no such this as an aggressive dog breed. I have met the sweetest pitbulls and the meanest pomeranians. I will dog sit any dog as long as I have a understanding of any medical issues and or behavioral lets say quirks
A typical day
The area around my home is leash optional and as long as the dog has a good recall they are free to run and run and run when I take them out on walks. I also have a younger dog who will play with anything and anyone. I once caught him playing with a rock. He would be more than happy to entertain any playful pup.
