I am an Army veteran who became a Licensed Vet Tech after exiting the military. I have been a licensed tech for 10+ years and mostly worked in emergency medicine for cats and dogs. I am certified in pet CPR by the Recover Initiative and Fear Free certified. I am a member of Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS). I love all animals big and small. I can give any kind of medication to cats and dogs including but not limited to oral and injectable. Working in emergency means I have experience with lots of breeds so I do not have preferences with breeds. I do not accept pets that are aggressive toward people regardless of the breed. I can't wait to meet and help your pet live its best life!!!

Our first week with Lyssa, there will be more. She actually stayed at our house, which has been hard to find. So much less stress when far away knowing a competent person is loving your pups. She left our house as if she hadn't been there. Only reason I'm cautious to give her higher praise is we don't want her stolen away!
Alyssa is amazing! I have 6 ferral cats that typically hide from strangers but all came out for Lyssa. Of course my puppy loved her too. I was excited to find her since I am new to Hillsboro Texas.

I went on a little trip to Arkansas and Lyssa took excellent care of my fur babies. I received daily pictures of my sweet boys. I would recommend her to anyone. Fantastic communication everyday and she took excellent care of my house and my sweet pups.

At the client's home, I will never leave a pet outside alone. If there is no fence, then the pet will be on a non-retractable leash with a snug, properly fitted collar.

I have no breed restrictions, but I will not accept the booking request if the pet is aggressive towards people. If the pet is fine with people but not so good with other animals, I will need to know to be watchful when outside with the pet.
A typical day
Depending on what the pet likes to do, I play fetch, tug, ball toss, play with toys, snuggle and pretty much anything else the pet enjoys. Walks are situational but I would only take the pet to areas that the owner approved.

Availability
I am working from home at this time. This allows me to have more time for your furry friends! For house sitting, I will be at your home pretty close to 24/7. The only times I would need to leave are to take care of my pets in the morning and evening. For drop-in visits, there are more dates available since I work from home.
