Pet care experience
My name is Lys! In high school I was in a vocational school taking Animal Science, which provided me with a wide range of hands-on experience working with all sorts of pets ranging from friends with scales, to friends with fur! Daily tasks consisted of cleaning up after them, nurturing them when they are ill, examining for signs of stress induced behavior, and most importantly showering them with affection. After vocational school, I provided care and love to many animals at the pet store I worked at for 2 years. Over the years, I have come in contact with hundreds of different animals with different temperaments in a professional setting. My home consists of a cat, a dog, multiple reptiles, and some fish. It’s safe to say I love to be surrounded by all different species!

Lys does a phenomenal job caring for pets from cats to dogs and most everything in-between. She has the love and compassion that makes me feel secure when she’s taking care of my car and dog.
Lys is a great pet parent and petsitter. They have a true love of all animals, and that is very clear when you see them interact with pets. Lys has been a petsitter for me multiple times when I have been away from home, whether it’s just one night or a week straight. I’ve always gotten consistent daily updates about how my fur babies are doing (along with plenty of pictures!). Highly recommend Lys as a petsitter!

I am fortunate enough to have a massive fenced in backyard that my pup spends most of her time in. I believe that if possible, all pets should have a time and place to be able to get their zoomies out! Similar to how humans go to the gym or go swimming! I focus my time on ensuring the pets in my care are safely interacting with the environment around them, aswell as participating in mentally stimulating activities to get that brain pumping!

Please let me know what commands are mandatory for your pet! Such as; if you require them to sit and stay if another person/pet walks by! I am here to follow YOUR rules to ensure your pet stays on their routine!
A typical day
My job is to ensure your pet is stimulated both mentally and physically. We will play together in a a safe environment and have a blast!

Availability
I intend to provide services with my free time in hopes that elderly, disabled, and busy pet owners can make sure that their loved ones are cared for. Affordable pet care isn’t necessarily accessible to those in need, and I hope I can help provide this to my community I do have a full time job, so my preferred availability is after 4pm, and I have inconsistent days off so my calendar will be updated to accommodate that! Please don’t hesistate to reach out with times and dates that work for you and I’d be more than happy to see what I can do!
