Pet care experience
In my life I’ve had 3 rats, 2 guinea pigs, 4 cats, and 2 dogs. Not only have I helped care for them, I have helped other family members by dog sitting, taking them out for walks, and house sitting while they are on a trip away. I am a lover of animals, and have had lots of experience since I was 16! I currently do not have any pets with me while I’m at school, but back home we have our dogs, cats, and guinea pigs that I help care for while I am visiting.

Lyric did an amazing job watching our pit/boxer mix for a weekend! She was super kind and patient with our crazy pup. He’s big, and high energy, so he’s not for just any sitter. Lyric did great! We even had last minute timing shifts in our trip, and she was so flexible. She kept us updated, was super easy to communicate with, and sent us lots of pictures of Yuli having a blast! I would 100% recommend Lyric, and will definitely be reaching out to her again for dog sitting!

I am very receptive to how animals are feeling and will act accordingly. Additionally, I am knowledgable about the care for many different types of animals, including how often they need to go out to exercise/use the bathroom, and typical boundaries and likes&dislikes. I am also a very spatially aware and responsible person, so when taking (for example) a dog on a walk or caring for your home, I will do whatever is necessary to keep everyone safe.

A typical day
I love to play with the dogs with their toys, playing fetch outside, and taking them on long walks! If comfortable and they like it, I can take them on car rides to get a pup cup or a new place to sniff and explore. Walking on campus (if the dog doesn’t mind being pet by others) is my favorite because college students love dogs and petting one would make their day!

Availability
I’m a full time student and I work part time, but I do have free time in the evenings, between classes, and on weekends. I have a car that allows for easy transportation, and I live within walking distance to the University of Oregon so if you are nearby I can easily walk over.
