I have been around dogs my entire life. My earliest memories are with my German Shepard's, Mac and Heidi. There have been very few periods in my life when my family or I have not had a dog(s). I have been a foster mom to 23 dogs and 1 cat. All of these animals lived in my house with my animals. I realized how important it is for animals, especially our senior pets and those with special needs, to be able to stay home while their humans are away, that it is why I am available to care for your pet(s) at your home while you're away. I know it's not the same as having their human at home, but it is the best alternative for most animals. I love all dogs but larger breeds and senior dogs are my weakness! I grew up with German-Shepards and Rottweilers. I had Xia, my Beagle/Shepard mix, from the time she was 8 weeks, but her brother Konrad (a Rottweiler) came to me at 8 years old, full of arthritis and a broken heart. I never would have guessed in a million years I'd love him the same as my Xia, but he forever changed my perspective on loving and adopting senior dogs. My area of coverage/availability is flexible depending on the needs of you and your animal(s). I work from 8-4 Monday through Friday as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at a local private school so I will not be able to provide potty breaks during the day Monday through Friday would be my only restriction.
