Lynn was really great at taking care of our cats when we were on vacation. I would highly recommend her.

I've been using Rover for many years, and this is the first negative experience I've had. My husband and I met with Lynn a week before our booking since she'd be staying at our home to watch our dog. She seemed a little shy and awkward but Cody seemed to take to her so we kept our booking. We explicitly told her that Cody shouldn't be left home by himself during her stay but when our friend came to pick up Cody since he'd be spending Christmas Eve and day with her, she found him home alone. She texted Lynn and was told that she'd left 3-4 hours earlier, and this was with no prior notice to us. Then at the end of Cody's stay with Lynn, we'd coordinated with her to drop him off at another Rover sitter's place. After she dropped him off, we were contacted by the second sitter because Lynn told him that Cody had injured his back falling off of something, and he wanted to know if he should take him to a vet. I was so alarmed since Lynn hadn't mentioned anything about this when she confirmed she'd dropped him off. I called her and asked her directly why she didn't inform us of this issue before she'd dropped Cody off, and she literally was SILENT. No response on her end, nothing to explain her behavior! When we arrived home, we found some dirt on our couch and on the floor around it. It turns out she'd broken one of my planters, and I found the broken pieces in my garbage can! Again, Lynn hadn't mentioned this to me during our numerous texts while I was away. It really would not have been a big deal that she broke the planter but it's the fact that she tried to hide the evidence and made no mention of it. Then I walked into my office and found my curtain rod pulled from the wall, and all of my hanging planters on the ground! I cannot understand how she wouldn't have mentioned any of this. This has made me seriously reconsider using Rover again based on how bad this experience was with Lynn.
