Pet care experience
I basically grew up in an Animal Hospital due to my parent's occupation. This also meant that my family's house was always full of dogs and other assorted sick and injured 'wild drop in's' that my Mother was healing (a seagull, chipmunks, turtles, doves, rabbits, etc.) She also professionally bred, showed, and judged German Shepherds, Newfoundlands and Standard Poodles so I basically spent the other half of my youth at dog shows. As an adult, my life has always been accompanied by dogs. In past years I've owned a Golden Retriever, a Basenji, a German Short Haired Pointer, and an Australian Heeler. I'm a very responsible dog owner and know what it takes to keep a dog healthy and happy. My current fur baby is a 1 year old German Shepherd. She is adorable and full of energy in addition to being well trained and well behaved because of the time I've spent working with her. I'm used to high energy breeds that need to be kept busy and entertained as well as walked during the day. There's limited dog sitters available here in Keene so my being a Rover sitter also helps out. You can be sure that I'll be sensitive to your dog's character and tend to their individual needs. I'm available for Dog Walking and Drop-In Visits. Please check my calendar for available days. “The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.” (M.K. Clinton)

It's important for me to know: *if your dog has any health/medical concerns and/or if there is medication given *if your dog has any history of aggression *if your dog experiences anxiety (fearful of certain things, situations, separation from owners)
A typical day
A 30 minute walk will be approximately one mile. A walk should be a fun experience for your dog. Sniffing, investigating, and having dog types of fun!
