Lynesia has said she wants to be a veterinarian since she was 5yrs old, and has always shown compassion and love for all species of animals (including snakes). She was fortunate enough to be a part of a program (sponsored by PetSmart) for her 13th birthday where was able to interact with the patients of PetSmart and the DVM, and was given an actual stethoscope and I had never seen her light up so much. She and her cousin then started a successful dog walking business, but unfortunately due to a growing academic work load and rigorous basketball schedule the business was dissolved. However Lynesia's love and knowledge of animals has continued to grow, she volunteered and eventually worked for a family owned veterinary clinic where she took part in Pop-up clinics and learned to administer vaccines. Lynesia is always seeking any opportunity to care animals and finds great joy in telling one why dogs behave in certain ways. Anyone that knows Lynesia knows that she is great with animals and especially loves caring for dogs of all characteristics and sizes. Lynesia is also known to tame the shrew (dog) with ease.
