I have two years of professional experience in training, caring for, and researching working dogs to examine their cognitive and behavioral abilities. Alongside this professional experience, I have a lifetime of experience in caring for cats and dogs. Caring for animals has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. Constantly bringing home stray cats and dogs as a child didn't make my parents happy, but I have always been determined to give the best care to animals until they are able to go to their forever home. At home, I am the mom of two dogs, Nadia and Freyja, and a spoiled cat, Mr. Bigglesworth. With Freyja and Nadia being large and in charge, I am well equipped to handle strong dogs. Mr. Bigglesworth is my lovely old man, and he has made my love for taking care of cats grow exponentially over the years (no matter how stinky the litter box can be). I have experience in basic training for dogs, and I would love to work on your dogs' skills to make you and them happier at home if you would like me to. I am also experience with administering medicine and doing basic health checks if needed. At my previous job, I performed daily health checks on 24 dogs for 9 months for a health study. I am also trained in preventing heat stroke and lowering body temperature if heat exhaustion occurs. My main goal is to make you and your pets' lives easier, and to provide quality care for your animals!
