WFH-Dependable-Fur baby obsessed

Pet care experience

I have three fur babies of my own, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever named Griffey and two rescue kitties, Nyx and Dolly who I absolutely adore! Griffey loves to be outside around new smells and adventures, so we are always going for a walk and playing fetch in our yard. I've grown up around puppies, kittens, adult doggos and kitties of all ages, no shape or personality is too small or big! fur- baby obsessed, so looking to spend time with your furry friend while you're away! At present, I work from home as our AirBNB manager for our little slice of heaven further North, meaning I have plenty of time to give your pup and/or cat! In my spare time, I enjoy walking and hiking—which I LOVE to bring a pup along to explore with. I 've made my own cozy environment for my fur babies that is full of soft blankies, love and attention. I strive to create the best experience and memories through each interaction treating them as if they were my own. Our time spent with them is precious and my goal is to bring comfort and happiness to you and your loves, making the most of every moment I have with them. If you need someone, whether it may be for walks, check-ins, or sleepovers while you are away, I am available for all of the above and look forward to offering the best care possible!

My cats are really nervous and don’t come out for ANYBODY, but on the second day, they came out for Lyndsey! She’s so kind, respectful, and a cat whisperer. 🥹 Thanks Lyndsey!

Lyndsey is amazing! She took the best care of our pup while we were away. She gave great updates and helped our pup have the absolute best week while we were away. I cannot recommend her enough. We are so grateful for the loving, fun care she provided for our pup.

Safety, trust & environment

I am Red Cross certified in animal first aid and have experience administering oral and topical medications. I require a well-fitting harness/and or collar with tag identification and updated flea and tick medication especially if I have the ok during a longer walk to take your furry friend on a hike! Safety features I provide and have with me at all times: -Apple AirTags are provided for walks. -Leash safety strap: leashes will always be physically attached to my body. -A Neon reflection vest and triple beam chest lamp for early morning and evening walks -Pet emergency first-aid kit for doggos & kitties -Portable water bowl for when the derpy tongue starts derping! My doggo has a litany of environmental allergies so I am hypervigilant in gently drying off your pup from a rainy PNW day focusing particularly on paws and ears to stay one step ahead of any pesky yeast infections the moisture may cause for those who are sensitive to getting them. I understand the scariness of intestinal torsion and am educated in this area ensuring there is calm time before and especially after eating. I NEVER give table scraps or unapproved treats and follow feeding instructions closely. All outdoor times are always supervised. I never let a pup out in the backyard alone even if the fence is secure with no gaps. TMI but I gotta cover it! You ready? Alright, let's talk poo. Another big reason outside time is supervised is due to the fact our pup's stool tells us a lot about their health. If I see something irregular i.e. liquid, blood, black, objects such as fabric or if they are straining and cannot go, I will immediately inform you and take a picture/video to provide the vet via email for you to communicate over to them for consultation. I am cautious and extremely alert when opening doors and garages leading outside. When I cannot be home for housesitting stays (appointments, grocery run, dog walks) I will not be away for more than 4 hours maximum. This is the standard I have always held for my own pup and treat yours in the same manner. Our furry best friends love us unconditionally and will be prioritized as such. I am here to ensure peace of mind and comfort that while you are away your companion will be in good hands. I know how stressful it can be leaving my own fur babies so whether I am hosting, housesitting, checking in, or walking I make it a priority to provide lots of pictures and updates along the way.

Information Lyndsey F. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know what their love language is. I have watched senior pups who just want quality time in a warm area to settle in and get some love; to rambunctious, younger sweethearts that are ready to take on the world! I know every dog has their personalities and traits and would love to do an initial meet and greet first so that I can provide the best experience and time possible.

A typical day

Fresh water is provided everyday making sure the bowls are clean as well. I will follow their routine as close as possible. We’ll play with their favorite toys, watch their favorite shows and play some music that they are used to when you are at home with them. They can sleep with me and will get a lot of snuggles and pets along the way. You’ll always know what we’re up to, as I’ll send lots of photos of our daily activities and updates on how we’re doing. For doggos whether it be indoor or outdoor activities fun is the name of the game! As well as cuddles, lots of cuddles. When we wake up, I always say “biiiig stretch!” and do an eye boogie check, then it’s time for show and tell! Griffey LOVES grabbing one of his toys to prance around and show off. I am the BEST hype gal when we begin our day. I love mixing in awesome surprises throughout the daily routine. Hiding treats, playing tug of war, photoshoot updates and pretending like we are going on a big adventure to explore new smells and activities they may have not checked out yet. Griffey loves to have dance parties with me when I am tidying up around the house, if your pup has a favorite song or genre I would love to know and set up their own playlist! For kitties, in general, I focus on reading the room, taking note if your smaller companions want love and cuddles, play time, or just the comfort of having a human presence near them. If cat nip is their jam, I love to mix a little bit of that in their day every once in a while! I am currently growing my own cat nip and drying it out which I love to provide as little gifts (if ok'd!). Winding down for the day content and happy, everyone gets loves wherever their favorite spot may be.

I live with my partner Kevin as our Airbnb property manager, which allows me to have a very flexible, open schedule so I will always be around for cuddles, walks, and playtime! There will be, on occasion, a time period (no longer then 4 hours max) where I will need to leave your home if house-sitting for Airbnb appointments. But for the majority of the day, I can take breaks whenever your pup needs to take breaks, go outside, destress and hang out!
