Pet care experience
I'm 32 years old, married, and mommy of three beautiful Australian Shepherds (Elsa, Nemo, and Aurora). I also have two children (3 and 1) who have been raised around our dogs their entire life. I am currently an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant here in Kissimmee. I am extremely active in the foster community and LOVE helping out other animals! I am currently the FL State Lead for Save Our Herders Outreach dog rescue (SOHO for short). I foster dogs for the rescue as well as manage other foster applicants and adoptions. I also worked as a vet tech assistant at the humane society as well as Dogwood Park in Jacksonville (unfortunately the dog park has since closed down)! I have fostered a mom and puppies, 1 week old puppies, kittens, dogs, dogs with surgery recoveries, you name it, I’ve probably done it! So any and all breeds, ages, sex, etc are welcome - as long as they can tolerate being around young children! LOL, Due to my work schedule, there will be some days where I will be at work throughout the day, but my husband is always willing to help out. We are a team and he will treat your animal just the way he treats ours - with lots of love and attention! I have a fenced in yard with room to run! My dogs love other dogs and love to play. We can also crate your dog if they feel more comfortable with that.

Before taking any dog in our home, I need to ensure they are friendly with other dogs (doesn’t need to be playful, but must tolerate other dogs) as well as being able to tolerate young children. I do my best to keep my children separated from new dogs but just in case, we can’t take any dog with aggression or known bite history. Also, we do need all dogs that enter our home to be up to date on their vaccines and flea prevention! Otherwise, we can deal with any other temperamental issues or medical issues :)
A typical day
I love dogs and have no problem sticking to their daily routine that they’re comfortable with. (Feeding schedule, potty times, etc). Let me know what your furry friend likes to do during the day, and we will do it!!!

Availability
My schedule is flexible for work so between my husband and I, one of us, is pretty much always home! I’m also available to stop by your home and walk your pup or do check ins. We like getting out of the house!
