Special needs welcome, home 24/7

Pet care experience

I grew up on a farm with dogs cats horses chickens goats pigs you name it I love them all.my mother ran a small non profit animal rescue for years. I have experience with special need animals. I can give medications, change dressings or diapers, whatever your needs. Special instructions are not a problem.if your animal is staying in my home they will need to get along with other animals.I have one small friendly Yorkie. Or I can come to your home. Your babies will get lots of love and attention from me :-) Why I love dog sitting I've loved animals since before I could walk. I cannot remember a time when I did not have a pet. I grew up on a ranch in Texas and have had many dogs cats horses pigs goats chickens love them all. My mom ran a small non-profit rescue so I have lots of experience with all kinds of animals some with special needs. Meet my pets part of my income will go to no kill shelters of my choice.I live in a 3 bedroom condo about 1500 square feet with a small to medium size private fenced backyard. Yard is big enough for four small dogs or two large dogs to play.Animals have free run inside and out or whatever your instructions are.I will also offer a Skype session or two if you want to see their fuzzy face while you are away. About my yard I have a small well fenced yard. The fence is brick so there is no digging under. I have a small 6 pound dog and there is no area where she can get out of the yard. Your dog will have access to the yard anytime they want to go out . I can also take them on walks if that is what you wish. Your pet will not be left outside unattended. My experience administering medication Yes I am comfortable with special instructions and medications .

Good pet sitters are hard to find and I’m glad to find Lyndi. Knowing that our yorkie was so well cared for each and every day allowed us to relax and not worry about her while we’re on vacation. Lyndi is a good communicator and sent us daily updates with pictures.

I absolutely love Lyndi and never feel worried when leaving Aiden with her and her in home dogs. She always sends pictures and updates and is very attentive and quick to respond to my corespondence. I am so glad that I found her and I'm sure Aiden is as well.

Information Lyndi B. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences just that the dog gets along very well with others if staying at my home. Does the dog have any special needs? Medications /allergies ? Is your dog a chewer or a barker?

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Walks will be done around the apartment complex within the gated community. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Sleeping arrangements will be based on the individual dog its size and the owners wishes . I have one large dog bed but feel free to bring your own bedding. Your dog will have free run of the house unless other arrangements are requested. Time I'll spend with your dog I am home full time so we will spend lots of time together. Some questions to ask your pet sitter whoever you may choose. Are they home full-time? Do they allow large and small dogs to stay in the same room when they are gone? Large dogs can hurt small dogs unintentionally trying to play with them. Do they have designated feeding times and are the dogs kept separate during feeding? Do they give treats if so what kind and how often? Do they know what foods and plants are toxic to dogs? If your pup likes to get into things is their house dog proof? Do they take your dog outside of their home during their stay? If so do they know about extreme temperatures and to check the pavement to make sure it is safe to walk on? Do they know how to spot if something is not right with your dog? Do they know what to do in an emergency situation and where the closest 24hr emergency vet clinic is? It is a good idea to interview your pet sitter since your dog cannot speak up for himself. There are lots of people qualified to give love and attention but if you want to make sure your pet is safe you should ask your pet sitter these questions.
