Pet care experience
Lynda and I grew up with dogs and between us we have over 55 years experience with dogs. We've done dog sitting and boarding for many years for our friends and neighbors and have recently joined the Rover.com family. We are both retired and have lots of time to spend with the dogs we board. We live in a quiet forested neighborhood and dogs love it here.

Lynda & Gary were wonderful hosts for Pickle. They were extremely responsive and communicative and clearly love pups. I felt Pickle was well taken care of in their care. They are also very compassionate people. I highly recommend them to any other pet parents out there.
Lynda and Gary were amazing, so caring and understanding. They obviously love dogs and I’m really grateful for them taking care of Kobe for just about a week as I was out in business travel. Even when Kobe had a bad tummy they took good care of him. If anyone needs a caring couple for your little one they are the perfect couple.
I received tons of pictures and I was happy to know that my baby is doing well!! Thank you for taking care of my mochi 💕
Gary and Lynda were great with our puppy. They provided lots of love and care. She was happy and relaxed when I picked her up.

Our house is very comfortable and dogs can roam as much as needed. We do not have a fenced yard so we take our boarded dogs on lots of walks, 4 - 6 walks a day depending on the dogs. We have boarded dogs up to a month.

Information Lynda & Gary S. would like to know about your pet
Let us know in advance of any special needs. The issue is mostly in regards to dogs that have many special needs, but also dogs that are pullers even if mid sized can be too much for my wife. We have ruled out large dogs but I can imagine a gentle non pulling large dog that is responsive to leash commands would be OK for us.
A typical day
My wife says I make our boarded dogs fall in love with me and that is not fair to the owners. Both of us give our dogs lots of love and hugs and in particular I enjoy playing with our canine guests, chasing or getting chased and playing with various toys. I have a collection of dog toys.

I've also provided lots of consulting over the years for managing household dogs and have on numerous occasions been called a dog whisperer. Dogs bond easily with me and my wife and owners frequently tell us their dogs are excited when they come back to our house.
