Pet care experience
A little about me: I have a long history of pet-sitting/dog walking, and also am a pet owner myself (my cat, Mannie, who's 13). I’ve been around animals all my life, and also love being around them, get so much out of hanging out with animals, and just always get so much from being around them. Every time I'm around the new animal, I feel like my life improves just a little bit. I love hanging out with doggies, getting some time outside, and getting fresh air. I frequently go to 1000 acres, and also am a Portland native so I’m familiar with all the urban trails/doggie spots in town. You can count on me to be reliable, show up on time, be dependable, and give your pets all the attention they deserve.

I like to get up and go on walks early. Pets being on the couch, on the bed, or sitting near me is also A-OK. Don't really have a lot of fancy, high value furniture in my house, so I'm not super afraid of high energy pets that bounce around. I also have a cat, but he can be in my bedroom away, if dogs are nervous about cats. But generally he gets along really well with dogs and has a ton of experience with them!

I like to know about the dogs energy level, and also their sleep schedule, so I can find a good match and provide great care. It's also good to know if dogs get along with other dogs, specially when walking out in the neighborhood, so that I can be prepared for any challenges. And general anxiety level, or specific things they are anxious about helps to know if
A typical day
I really like going to public parks, particularly Mount Tabor and Laurelhurst park. The waterfront is also a nice place to take dogs, and I live in inner Southeast (Ladd's addition), so there's a lot of nice neighborhoods that are peaceful and are great for dog walking.

I really like to stay physically active and moving, so dog walking him being outdoors with animals really enriches and improves my life a lot!
